Fundamentals
A good golf game starts with the fundamentals; grip, aim, and setup.
Grip
Years ago one of my mentors said “Bill, you want your players to have gas so they don’t play like an ass.”
Now, I don’t mean I want you to have eat beans before your golf lesson. I want you to have a good Grip, Aim and Setup so you look like a tour player, not an ass on the golf course.
Here are three simple drills you can practice - two indoors, and one outdoors - to help you learn the proper Grip, Aim and Setup for the game of a lifetime.
Your grip is foundational to a good game. Get the proper grip to play your best.
Aim
Most golfers have no idea how to line up appropriately to aim at the right spot. Here’s a trick for you to try the next time you are on the course or on the range.
Setup
An athletic setup is key to a good golf swing.
